Up and awake early this morning. Finished cutting my squares for the next several themes of our swap. These are the last two squares and wishes I sent out.
So cute! For your quilts, do you sew the squares intact or do you cut them again to make 4x4 squares or stripes? I'm new to quilting so I'm not quite sure what I should do with mine.
I actually have someone making the quilts for me. I just don't have time right now to sew...going through chemo and radiation soon for breast cancer. I will be doing a quilt in the future and I will keep the squares at an 8x8" square so most of the pattern on the fabric can be seen. I will either do a sashing quilt like the ones my quilt lady is doing or I will just sew all the squares together without the sashing. Personally I think the sashing makes the squares stand out more, but that is my opinion. My quilt lady's site is http://www.originalquilts.com/
